-Take command of a survival craft or man-over-board boat during and after deployment
-Operating the engine at a survival craft
-Manage survivors and survival craft after evacuation of the ship
-Command firefighting operations on board ships
-Organize and train fire teams
-Inspecting and maintaining plant and equipment, fire detection and fire fighting
-Medications and medical supplies, intravenous fluid therapy
-Practical exercises in medical treatment
