G4 Overhead Travelling/Gantry Crane Practice and Driving Test (Module 2.7, 3.7, 4.7)

Objective

The course will provide crane operators a good theoretical basic on the bridge and overhead cranes while the course gives participants a good understanding of the crane construction and operation. Passing the theoretical and practical test will provide the basis for issuing certificates of competence G4 Overhead crane.

Target group

Personnel who in their daily work using (or will use) travelling/gantry crane at work.

-Competent control and crane documents
-Installing the crane
-Signals - signs
-Weight assessment - Using tables
-Crane operator Instructions
-Wire rope - hoisting ropes
-Drums - Wire rope sheaves
-Practice
-Practical test

Prerequisites

Course participants must have completed the Slinger course (module 1.1 and 2.3).
