Fall Protection and Rescue - NOG 113, Refresher
Objective
The training shall provide knowledge and skills in accordance with the requirements regarding safe use and servicing of fall protection equipment. Practical knowledge of rigging and proper use of rescue equipment, use of rope access, rescue of free hanging person, over open sea, tank, use of stretcher, abseils and treatment using first aid equipment (neck brace etc).
Target group
All companies and all personnel that procure, use and maintain fall protection equipment. Other personnel would be rescue teams , people concerned with industry safety, fire- and emergency teams.
The training is designed for personnel involved in the rescue team aboard an installation, but also for staff who want a basic understanding of a rescue operation after a fall accident where fall protection equipment has been used. NB! Not Climbing Equipment.
